MANCHESTER (AP) -- A Manchester man has been arrested after he allegedly strolled along Interstate 291 wearing nothing but a thong, fake breasts and a wig. Police said they received several calls about the man, which prompted an hour-long search over the weekend. Police said they found David Gebhardt, 42, Saturday, fully clothed and collecting cans behind a business in Manchester. Police said they also found a wig and fake breasts in the man's car. Gebhardt is charged with disorderly conduct and simple trespass. He is free after posting $2,500 bail.
SIMSBURY (AP) — A whole raw roasting chicken was found by the side of a road Monday stuffed with a pipe bomb, police said. A motorist noticed the chicken bomb on Powder Forest Drive at about 9 a.m. It was large enough to cause harm to a person if it went off, said Police Capt. Matthew Catania. The road was closed while the Hartford Police Department's bomb squad came and blew up the chicken. Nobody was injured. No arrests have been made police said.
